  1. Hey Jesse,

Is it possible in today’s world to have a full time career as a web designer without a 4-year degree?

  2. Kindly tell me….I know Html, css, photoshop,Illustrator and corel draw. Can I become a graphic designer or web designer?

  3. I actually having a difficulty on what i should i pursue. I think im in the middle of web designer and web developer. It's just that i can't practice in designing since my laptop can't run abobe applications or any heavy application but i would love to put into work everything what's on my mind. What do you think i should do, just want to hear you opinion.

  4. It’s like the relationship between architect and the engineer
    The architect designs the building
The engineer works out if it stands

  5. So that's cool, I've been studying web development material for the past several years but in my head the whole time I was imagining web design. Good to know…

  6. Self Employed – I do it all (and I'm the only programmer in my company). It's a lot work but I'm invaluable to my team. I'm sure, if I had to, I could find a new job pretty easily. It's worth it to know all aspects of your job/passion!

  7. I can see myself as a crossover. As one who has been involved with paleontology and looking to transition into tech (no pun intended), I've enjoyed the visual aspects such as cladograms and artistic renditions of what dinosaurs may have looked like which are useful for communicating the science to the public. On the more technical side, I enjoyed anatomy through dissecting animals while heavily reading the textbook and publications on form, function, and evolutionary relationships. I also enjoyed piecing together many bone fragments into one single bone, like a puzzle, during fossil preparation. Right now I got into HTML, JS, and CSS and will eventually figure what's good for me.

  8. This is very helpful for me i was stuck in a loop about being a web designer or a developer.i think designer would be a great deal for me since i have a creative mind and like coming up with unique ideals.development i might get bored with it and it would make me depresss on figuring things out

  9. I need to ask a question I have experience in loads of Softwares such as Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel, I really enjoy creating my own designs in word. so my question is? Would any of these software's help or link to web design or development or do I start a completely new path to learning it from scratch?

  10. Your video is very informative. Thanks for explaining patiently. Can I be a Web designer & developer? Am I taking in too much? Is it possible?

  11. Hello there! I just wish to give you a huge thumbs up for your excellent information you have right here in this video. I’ll be returning to your channel soon.

  12. As soon as you said “you can do both. You can switch easily because they are so closely related to each either” I was like, I like you. I like that thinking!!! Thanks, it was a great video!

  13. Hey, thanks for this video. I was wondering if you made sure to learn data structures and algorithms before becoming a web developer? Is it something you recommend for me to learn?

  14. You are too good to be real ❤ that's a perfect guide full of priceless helpful info combined with a very good presentation.

  15. I'm using Figma for a mockup and then I use CSS and HTML to create an exact copy of that mockup. I'm also quite keen on Javascript. I've made som basic stuffs like a color picker, note taking and a to do.

I've also a localhost with WordPress installed and I can transform a site, using Underscore as template, to basically whatever my mockup is. At least all my attempts have worked out fine.

Any tips for next step? I'd love to find some easier freelance work.

I'm thinking of creating my own site where I put up mockups and small javascript projects.

  16. I am interested in web designing. I like html coding (well for now just the basics, lol).

But I don't care for CSS too much, definitely not Java Script and being a back end developer. But hey! who knows, maybe that might change.

  17. @Jesse: Thank you for making and sharing this video.

And it's great that you do both. So you are definitely in the position to share this information for us.

I also liked the encouragement you gave towards the end of this video.

I just wanted to mention that I was surprised to hear that web designers, don't have to know code. I heard that they do have to know code.

Btw, I saw your last name and was curious about your nationality.
    What's your nationality?

  18. This is the exact video I'm checking for difference of web design and development

    thanks for making good video
